VB Trunk Show Round up

The Veronica Beard trunk show is like Christmas morning in Alexandria, Virginia. Every fall, one of my favorite local boutiques, The Hive, carries Veronica Beard pieces on the reg but for a limited time each fall they carry EXTRA pieces (also known as a trunk show) so customers can try everything on in person and buy at a 20% discount!!! This year’s trunk show starts tomorrow, September 19th and runs through this Sunday, September 22nd. The brand is traditionally pretty classic, cool and preppy as it is known for its tailored fun blazers that you can pair with their the iconic dickeys Here is a great combo available at the trunk show!

The Oria wool blazer is one of my favorites from the collection this season. I styled it with their Koulis denim dress! All accessories and shoes I’m wearing in the photos are at the shop too!

Some of the fun trends are peppered throughout the collect this fall like a take on the barn jacket trend.

And the long vest trend! I’d wear with these wide leg jeans, or with their wide leg trousers.

Of course I love this perfectly tailored black blazer that you can layer over just about anything. The Veronica Beard pieces that I go for are the classic pieces that can be edged up with fun accessories and gutsy styling.

Last but not least is one of the trends I am loving the most this fall: chocolate brown, espresso brown, dark brown…whatever you want to call it. This set is absolutely killer and can be take from date night all the way to black tie!
